Authorities are investigating a body found in a creek shortly after noon Thursday, Oct. 11, in Sell’s Mill Park on Jackson Trail Road in Hoschton.
A visitor to the park discovered the body and called 911.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles said the agency is working with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office to gather more details.
Investigators
are withholding the identity of the deceased person pending notification of
family.
The body will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur for autopsy.
