The Balus Creek Boat Ramp, located off Mountain View Road, is scheduled to open for use today.

The ramp was extended using a coffer dam to allow it remain above Lake Lanier’s water level. The work was a collaboration between Hall County’s Engineering Division and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The county’s Road Maintenance Division upgraded the parking lot as well.
