Missing Flowery Branch teen Jordan Strickland found by Atlanta police

Update, Jan. 4: Jordan Faith Strickland has been located by the Atlanta Police Department, according to a post on social media by the Hall County Sheriff's Office. Spokesman Lt. Greg Cochran did not have additional information to provide when contacted by The Times on Saturday afternoon.


Update, Jan. 3: Authorities are trying to identify and find a man spotted at a Braselton convenience store with a 15-year-old last seen on Christmas night.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office obtained surveillance photos of the Circle K store taken around 6:45 a.m. Dec. 26 on Ga. 124 and Ga. 211 in Braselton.

“Investigators want to speak with the man and are asking the public for assistance in identifying him,” according to the Sheriff’s Office’s lookout post.

Authorities have been searching for Jordan Faith Strickland, 15, who was last seen around 11 p.m. Dec. 25 at her home in the Mulberry Preserve/Elizabeth Lane area of Flowery Branch.

“She is believed to be wearing rainbow-colored Vans shoes,” according to the Sheriff’s Office’s original lookout post. “Jordan may be in an emotionally imbalanced state.”

Authorities said Jordan has brown hair and green eyes. She is roughly 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Anyone with information on Jordan’s whereabouts, the car seen in the photos or the man should contact the investigator at 470-623-0299.

Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth said there is no new information on Jordan Strickland's case.

"Investigators are actively continuing to pursue leads in the case, but she remains missing," Booth wrote in an email.
