Hall County sheriff’s officials said the results of an autopsy being conducted today on the body a woman found dead Wednesday morning in her home in Lula should help them determine whether foul play was involved.

Col. Jeff Strickland said the body of 49-year-old Ann Britt was found inside the home by her teenage son just before 9 a.m. The house is in the 6400 block of Narramore Way off Belton Bridge Road. Britt is believed to have died sometime during the previous night, Strickland said. There was no sign of forced entry into the home, Strickland said.

Britt’s body was taken to the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s office, where an autopsy was scheduled for 10 a.m. today.
