A variety of drugs worth more than $13,000 were found Tuesday at a Gainesville home, along with scales and $3,000 in cash, according to authorities.

About 4 ounces of marijuana, 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine and 1 ounce of cocaine were found after a search warrant was executed at the house in the 1900 block of Driskell Drive near Browns Bridge Road, according to a news release from the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.

Jose Ramon Cardenas, 21, of Gainesville, was arrested. Authorities reported they anticipated a second arrest but released no further information.

Cardenas is charged with trafficking cocaine and meth and with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, meth and marijuana, along with felony possession of marijuana and violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism Act.

MANS Lt. Scott Ware reported that Cardenas is a documented member of the Bustin’ on Everybody gang.
