Authorities said an Athens man riding a bicycle died Sunday afternoon in Jefferson. William Shultz, 63, died at Athens Regional Hospital, after being transported there for treatment of a head wound, according to authorities. Georgia State Patrol said “there was no evidence to indicate the bicycle had been struck by another vehicle and we believe this will be medically related.”
