Phillip and Leigha Alexander

Leigha Delores Mullins and Phillip Ryan Alexander were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Aug. 28, 2010, at Gillsville Baptist Church in Gillsville. The bride is the daughter of Garry and Sheila D. Mullins of Lula. The groom is the son of Phillip and Tracey Wilson Alexander of Lula.

Bill Calhoun performed the ceremony. Vocalist Christy DeLay presented a selected song for wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Toni Mullins of Lula was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Stephanie Crowder of Baldwin, and Kelsey Parks, Kelsey Diehl and Kelsey McNabb of Commerce. The bride's cousin Sara DeLay of Maysville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Alden Bridegroom of Toccoa was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Brian Alexander of Stone Mountain, the bride's brother Stephen Mullins of Lula, the bride's uncle, Bobby Mullins of Lula, and the bride's cousin, Jason Shockley of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Ryan Black of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Family friend Faith Townsend of Gainesville handed out bubbles for the couple's departure. The bride's hair was done by family friend Tina Wood of Maysville.

Tina Black, the bride's aunt, was the wedding coordinator. Kassidy Landrum, the bride's cousin, kept the bride's book.

The bride wore a garter worn by her mother when she was married; a new comb in her hair; shoes borrowed from her sister-in-law; and a blue bracelet given to her by the ring bearer on the day of the wedding.

The bride's family gave a rehearsal dinner at Gillsville Baptist Church on the eve of the wedding.

The church family gave a reception at Gillsville Baptist following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Helen, the couple reside in Danielsville.
