Kylie Jean Jordan and Zachary Gibbons McElveen were united in marriage at 5 p.m. May 14, 2011, at Morse Park Meadows. Lake Lure, N.C. The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Louise Jordan of Easley, S.C. The groom is the son of Alan and Cheryl McElveen of Gainesville.
The bride's brother and sister-in-law, the Revs. Rimes and Kathryn McElveen performed the ceremony.
The bride was presented in marriage by her mother and father. The bride's friend Caroline Rau of Chicago was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Crystal Bickoff of Tampa, Fla., Meredith Spence of Atlanta, Emily Dowden of Chicago and Nicole Richey of Easley, S.C., and the bride's sister-in-law Latoya Kuester of Jacksonville, Fla.
The bride's nieces Xorin and Aria Kuester of Jacksonville were the flower girls.
The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Harris Gignilliat of Atlanta, Alex Gentry of Vail, Colo., Matthew Casper of New York, and Eugene Gray of Washington, D.C., and the groom's cousin Sidney Baxter of San Francisco. The groom's nephews Luke and Samuel McElveen of Travelers Rest, S.C., were the ring bearers. Ushers were Lance Kuester, Drew Jordan, Allen Butts and Brian Smith.
