Spencer and Megan Arnold

Miss Megan Elizabeth Ivey and Mr. Spencer Griffith Arnold were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 5, 2010, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Clarkesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ivey of Cornelia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Arnold of Gainesville.

The Rev. John Beck performed the ceremony. Pianist Mrs. Donna James, vocalists Miss Brittney Bennett, Miss Hannah Lynn Ivey and Mr. Bobby Ivey and vocalist and guitarist Mr. Jordan Price, presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Miss Hannah Lynn Ivey of Cornelia was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Miss Ansley Rebecca Evans of Martinez, Mrs. Kristin Cannady Hall of Swainsboro, Miss Morgan Elizabeth Cody and Miss Amanda Marian Sanders, both of Clarkesville and the groom's sister Miss Haley Greer Arnold of Gainesville. The junior bridesmaid was a friend of the bride Miss Jennni Gallagher of Clarkesville. The couple's friend Miss Emma Grace Bost of Jefferson was the flower girl.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Petty Officer 3rd Class Winston Arnold of Gainesville, the groom's friends 2nd Lt. Ralph Heath Mills of Gainesville, Mr. John James Sutton of Eatonton, Mr. Phillip Blake Albertson and Mr. Robert Jeremy Moore, both of Gainesville. Greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Zeb Bost, Mrs. Bruce Nicholson and Mrs. Amy Butterworth. Mrs. Brooke Card was the wedding coordinator.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Hospitality Chalet at Road Atlanta in Braselton on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Community House in Cornelia following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to St. Georgia Island, Fla., the couple resides in Dallas, Texas.
