Jennifer and Stephen Howard

Miss Jennifer Suzanne Ellenburg and Mr. Stephen Ford Howard were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Dec. 11, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Cheryl Chandler Ellenburg of Gainesville and the late Mr. Lee Edward Ellenburg. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Alton Lawson of Gainesville and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stevens Howard of Dawsonville.

The Rev. Paul Evans performed the ceremony. Organist Mrs. B.J. Maher, drummer Mr. J.J. Hayden and bagpiper Mr. Robert Rogers presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother-in-law Mr. John Wesley Wingate III of Gainesville. The bride's sisters Mrs. Julie Ellenburg Wingate and Mrs. Joanna Ellenburg Clippinger, both of Gainesville, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's niece Miss Lindsey Ellenburg Wingate of Gainesville and the groom's sister Mrs. Heather Howard Crain of Gainesville. The groom's nieces Miss Rhiannon James Crain of Gainesville and Miss Lawson Elizabeth Gowder of Atlanta were the flower girls.

The groom's friend Mr. John Charles Ford of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's step-father, the groom's brother Mr. Timothy James Lawson and the groom's brother-in-law Mr. Russell Paul Crain III , all of Gainesville. Mr. Shawn Alan Clippinger was an usher.

Mrs. Susan Hosford and Mrs. Angie Parker were the wedding coordinators.

The bride carried her father's handkerchief, a sixpence and a locket with a picture of her father.

Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Alton Lawson gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna's in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's mother gave a reception at Brenau College in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Gainesville.
