Paige Scoggins Carter and Kyle Hamilton Blewer were united in marriage at 6 p.m. July 10, 2010, at Twigs Tempietto in Greenville, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Lydia Scoggins Carter of Walhalla, S.C. The groom is the son of H. LaVerne Jr. and Wanda Blewer of Orangeburg, S.C.

The Rev. Gerald R. Funderburk performed the ceremony. A flutist, cellist and violinist presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her grandfather Horace Owens and her uncle Jimmy Scoggins, both of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Tracy Perez of Oakwood was matron of honor. The bride's sister Molly Carter of Walhalla was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's cousins Holly Justice of Atlanta and Kasey Pavlovec of Oakwood, the bride's stepsister Ashleigh Brown of Walhalla, S.C. and the bride's friends Alicia Swain of Fair Play, S.C. Ally Queen of Pelzer, S.C., and Lindsey Bagwell of Westminster, S.C. Honorary bridesmaids were the bride's friends Angela McAllister and Tonia Thrift, both of Westminster and Ashley Moorhead of Seneca, S.C. The groom's nieces Ashlin and Ainsley Blewer of Orangeburg, S.C., and the bride's cousin Karah Justice of Atlanta were the flower girls.

The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Kevin Blewer of Orangeburg, the groom's friends Cody Albergotti of Athens, Nicolas Dohy of Charlotte, N.C., Colin Bowker of Houston, Texas, Jay Barker of Spartanburg, S.C., Fred Oliver of Charleston, S.C. and Brad White of Virginia Beach, Va.

The groom's nephew Warren Blewer of Orangeburg was the ring bearer. Ushers were Dylan Bauer of Gainesville and Devin Blewer of Orangeburg, S.C.

Cynthia Phillips was the wedding coordinator.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Greenville, S.C., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's mother gave a reception at Twigs Tempietto in Greenville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Puna Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Anderson, S.C.
