Jason and Alicia Watkins

Alicia Farrell Anderson and Jason David Watkins were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24, 2011, at Amicalola Lodge in Dawsonville. The bride is the daughter of Jimmy and Farrell Anderson of Dahlonega. The groom is the son of Randall and Nancy Watkins of Blue Ridge.

The Rev. Scott Smith performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friends Amy Dickinson and Brittany Jamison of Dahlonega were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Carrie Watkins of Blue Ridge, bride's friend Jennifer Lowman of Dawsonville, and bride's niece Anna Caitlyn Anderson of Gainesville. Lyla Grace McGriff of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Dusty Lowman of Dawsonville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Justin Davenport of Epworth, Donald Pittman Jr. of Mineral Bluff, and Jeff Vick of Ellijay and the bride's nephew Myles Anderson of Dahlonega. The bride's nephew Nicholas Anderson of Dahlonega was the ring bearer.

Melinda Maxwell was the wedding coordinator. Kelsey Carlisle kept the bride's book.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Amicalola Lodge in Dawsonville on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to St. Petersburg, Fla., the couple reside in Dahlonega.
