Fiddleheads back on Americas Got Talent!

The Dahlonega-based band, The Fiddleheads, a musical group rooted in bluegrass, has won a wild card spot on NBC’s "America’s Got Talent!" The group was voted off the show earlier in the season, but now will have a second chance to get back in the game. Comprised of North Georgia College & State University students and alumni, the group is competing for a $1 million grand prize.

The Fiddleheads include Adam Kersh, lead vocals; Trygve Myers, bass; Michael Wallace, guitar; Zak McConnell, mandolin; and Jake Larios, banjo.

McConnell is an NGCSU graduate, Wallace and Larios will graduate from North Georgia this year, Myers is a junior at North Georgia, and Kersh previously attended North Georgia. Fans have been soliciting votes on Facebook page to keep them in the running.

The competition will be broadcast live at 9 tonight on NBC, WXIA Atlanta.

After the broadcast, the public can vote for their favorite acts. Check for channel listings.
