Lanierland Civitan is meeting at the Gainesville Bowling Center to combine its dinner meetings with providing community service to a local organization. Meetings are at 4:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Members will assist with Special Olympics bowling activities, which begin at 5:30 p.m. Many of the young bowlers involved are part of Randy and Friends, which provides opportunities for adults with disabilities.
