Todd Modderman of Dahlonega received the appreciation award for his dedication to driving a big-rig to trainings in the Southeast region for the Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe organization. Modderman, a Gainesville native, was recognized during the B.R.A.K.E.S. organization’s seventh annual Gala at the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, N.C. Thanks to Modderman, teen drivers and their parents have had an opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat to observe how to safely share the road and stay out of the “no-zone” (blind spot) areas around an 18-wheeler. More than 250 people attended the event, themed “A Red Carpet Evening,” co-hosted by FOX News correspondents Jeff Hammond and John Roberts.
