Jimmy Louis and Stephanie Martin Usher of Clermont announce the engagement of their daughter Ansley Eileen Usher to Matthew Robert Sanchez, son of Robert Stanley and Elizabeth Ann Baker and Robert Kenneth Sanchez, all of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Eileen Patricia Usher.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Sally Usher of Clermont.

She is a 2008 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing from Young Harris College in Young Harris.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lee and Norma Messerlian of Clermont and Lester and Dorothy Sanchez of Orlando, Fla.

He is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in English education from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. He is employed as a cook at Lanier Village Estates in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Aug. 1, 2009, at the Usher family residence in Clermont.
