Jody and Tina Foreman of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Rachelle Foreman to Ryan Hogsed, son of James and Gwendolyn Hogsed of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jerry and Patricia Grant of Gainesville, Dennis and Sandra Foreman of Anchorage, Alaska, Greg and Cathy Curtis of Snohomish, Wash., and Martin and Linda Borreson of Wasilla, Alaska.

She is a 2007 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She will graduate in 2011 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in art marketing.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dee Head and Harold Hogsed, both of Gainesville, and Norman and Charlotte Marvell and Oletta Hale, all of Marshall, Ark.

He is a 2008 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. He will graduate in 2011 from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood with a degree as a computer support specialist.

The couple plan to wed July 24, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
