Whether it’s touring the Smithgall Woods State Park from the comfort of a van or hiking around one of the many trails, the outdoor recreation site has plenty for visitors to do this month. Park employees will show newcomers around the vicinity during its First Visit Tour from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Visitors will learn about Smithgall Woods State Park on a brief walk from the Visitor’s Center and in a van tour through the park.
