Among the many things we do at the Extension office is the assistance we provide to farmers and homeowners with insect identification. Sometimes identification is important in determining the management of a pest that is attacking a farmer’s crop, sometimes it’s for giving advice on controlling insects that have invaded a home or landscape, and sometimes it’s just for answering questions out of general curiosity.
