Chrome is being polished and engines are revved as members of the American Street Rodders gear up for the May 7 cruise-in at Hoschton City Square.
The family-oriented organization was created to provide a forum for individuals who enjoy sharing their interest in automobiles, reflecting the Cruisin’ 1950s and ’60s era.
Cruise-ins are from 4-8 p.m. the first Saturday of each month through October.
The American Street Rodders club includes people of all ages, with cars of all makes, models and years, the group’s website said. All members have the following in common:
“Cool cars, great friends, good times, lotsa cruizin and giving back to the community pretty much sums up the ‘The Rodders,’” the website said. “If you’re looking for an active club, you’re at the right place.
