Locally grown foods from area farmers, live and silent auctions and outdoor entertainment are set to provide a pleasurable outdoor evening at Elachee Nature Science Center. The center’s annual spring benefit, “Flights of Fancy,” will be from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, May 1, on the outdoor patio. Now in its 15th year, “Flights” is adding some new twists to the affair to make the familiar a fresh new experience for guests who have attended before and an exciting introduction for those who have not.
