You don’t need to visit Alta Vista Cemetery to get in touch with the dearly departed. The Hall County Library will hold its annual “Sitting Up with the Dead” genealogy marathon the night of Oct. 12. Participants can research their family roots in the library’s second-floor archives beginning at 6 p.m. until midnight.
