The Swingin’ Medallions and the Alligator Hat Band will bring their brand of music to Gainesville to raise money for veterans.

The American Legion Riders, Post 127 Buford is hosting the fundraising concert Saturday, April 23, at The Palace, 1705 Cleveland Highway, in Gainesville.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the Alligator Hat Band playing its Americana, classic rock and country music at 7 p.m. The Swingin’ Medallions, aka The Party Band of the South, will start at 9 p.m.

Tickets are $25 in cash or with a check. Online tickets are $26 and available at www.post127concert.com.

Reserved seating is limited and on a first-reserved status. A table of four cost an extra $25.

This fundraiser will benefit the Georgia American Legion State Commander’s Special Project, which provides hygiene and comfort items to men and women in the state’s veteran hospitals. Hygiene products are not supplied to veterans in the VA hospitals.

The goal of the project is to raise $100,000. About $45,000 has been raised. Donations are also accepted.
