Praise In Motion, an acclaimed metro Atlanta Christian dance company, will present its holiday production "The Gift" at 11 a.m., 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Mountains Center, 301 Main St. in Gainesville.

"The Gift" tells the story of the birth, life, resurrection and return of Jesus Christ through praise dance and contemporary Christian music.

"You get the true message of Christmas when you see ‘The Gift,'" said Rhonda Oltjenbruns, a co-director of Praise In Motion. "It lets you and your loved ones connect again with the real story and joy of the holidays."

Praise In Motion was founded in 1992 by Oltjenbruns and Kathy Thomas-Law, owner and director of The En Pointe School of Dance in Lilburn, and Discipleship through Dance in Monroe and Commerce. The dance company includes more than 30 dancers from a wide range of Christian denominations.

"Our shows have been standing room only for the last two years, so we added a fourth show on Saturday morning this year," Oltjenbruns said. "Now everyone can see the show at a more convenient time, especially those with small children."

Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.
