North Hall grad and Clemson University sophomore Ty McCormack won a pair of races at the New Balance Invitational in New York on Friday and Saturday.
McCormack won the 3,000-meter race in 8:15 and anchored the Clemson distance medley relay team, which recorded the third best time in Clemson history at 9:48.
McCormack remains undefeated this year as he also recorded wins in the 3,000-meter race in Birmingham, Al., and hit a 4:10 mile in Clemson, S.C., in the past two weeks.
McCormack travels to Seattle, Wa. next weekend to run the 5,000-meter.
