Lanier National to hold final points race

The final points race of the 2009 racing season will be held Saturday and will be capped with the James Garrison Memorial 100, a 100 lap late model race that features late models from the Georgia Asphalt Series and the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour.

Championship races for the local divisions will include Super Trucks, Mini-Stocks, Open Wheeled Modifieds, Sportsman, Legends, Bandoleros, Street Stocks and Spectator Racing.

Pit gates will open at 10 a.m., with grandstands and trackside parking opening at 5 p.m.

An on-track autograph session for all divisions will be held at 6 p.m. and the green flag drops at 7 p.m.

Grandstand admission for adults is $20 and children 11 years of age and younger admitted free of charge.

Drivers Chase Elliott, Jeff Choquette, Casey Roderick, Jason Hogan, TJ Reaid, Shane Sawyer, Dwayne Buggay, Russell Fleeman, Dalton Grindle and Paul Kelly are scheduled to appear.
