The Buford baseball team moved up one spot to No. 2 in Class AA in the latest Prepcountry.com Baseball Coaches Poll, released Tuesday. The Wolves (9-1, 2-0 Region 6A-AA) were ranked third for the first two weeks of the regular season. Buford visits South Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

In Class AAA, Gainesville (8-2, 6-2 Region 8-AAA) is sixth for the third straight week, while White County (8-1, 7-1) moved up one place to ninth. The Red Elephants will visit Stephens County, and White County visits Monroe Area, at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
