The Jefferson boys and Gainesville and Buford girls basketball teams are ranked in the Georgia Sports Writers Association high school basketball poll released Monday.

The Dragons are the only area boys team ranked with an No. 8 rank in Class AA.

The Gainesville girls are currently ranked No. 9in Class AAA, while the Buford girls maintain their first-place rank in Class AA.
