The Lakeview Academy volleyball team defeated Athens Christian 2-0 (25-14, 25-17) Tuesday night in Gainesville.
Senior Elif Alyanak led the Lady Lions (25-14, 25-17 Region 7AA/A) with 13 assists and three aces. Louisa Jacobs added five kills and three aces.
Lakeview plays host to the winner of Athens Academy/Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
