Javier Carus netted a pair of goals to lead Riverside Military Academy’s soccer team to a 5-0 win over Rabun County on Tuesday.

Carlos Carrillo, Ricardo Policarpo and Marvin Gonzalez also scored for the Eagles. Gonzalez and Samuel Palmer had assists in the match.

Riverside Military visits Lakeview Academy on April 15.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 2, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 1: Carmen Wagner tallied the game-winning goal for the Lady Lions on Tuesday.

Meredith Tucker also scored for Lakeview Academy (9-2), which hosts North Hall on Thursday in Gainesville.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 2, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 1: Andrew Miller-Bell notched both goals for the Lions on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Nicholas Mulka and Jack Perkins added assists. T.J. Wolcott earned the win in goal with 11 saves.

Lakeview Academy (5-5, 4-2 Region 8-A) faces North Hall on Thursday.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 2, HERITAGE 1: Nick Biasi tied the game for the Falcons on a bicycle kick in the second half on Tuesday in Conyers.

With five seconds left, Luke Biasi sent a free kick towards the goal, which Nick Biasi finished to secure the win.

Cade Minton earned the victory in goal.

Flowery Branch visits Winder-Barrow on Thursday.


JOHNSON GIRLS 5, EAST HALL 0: Zdena Janderova, Anslie Bass and Aly Groover won all three singles matches by scores of 8-0 on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Kaitlin Houston/Jessica Wucinski and Sloane Sengson/Lydia Connally earned doubles wins for the Lady Knights.

CHESTATEE BOYS 5, LUMPKIN COUNTY 0: Seven seniors combined to sweep for Chestatee on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Austin Passmore, Logan Gruenenfelder and Fletcher Siegfried all earned singles wins for the War Eagles.

Reed Johnson/Tyler Burgess and Hunter Creamer/Blake DeGraff picked up doubles wins.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 3, LUMPKIN COUNTY 2: The Lady War Eagles swept the singles matches to earn the victory on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Haley King, Grace Brown and Natalie McNitt all won for Chestatee.

NORTH HALL BOYS 4, MADISON COUNTY 1: Paxton Gillespie/Matt Booth and Dawson Smith/Daniel Martin paired up and swept the doubles matches for the Trojans on Tuesday.

Dalton Patterson and Reid Lattanzi picked up singles wins for North Hall (9-3, 7-0 Region 7-AAA), which will finish a suspended match against North Oconee on Thursday. The Trojans currently lead the match 2-1.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 4, BUFORD 1: Jeffrey Kiser and Graham McKinnon won singles matches for the Red Elephants on Tuesday.

Reagan Williams/Trevor Munn and Roan Thompson/Thomas Carter won at doubles for Gainesville.

BUFORD GIRLS 3, GAINESVILLE 2: Haley Frankum notched the lone singles win for the Lady Red Elephants on Tuesday.

Georgia Summer/Madi Kiser won at No. 1 doubles for Gainesville.


GAINESVILLE GIRLS 163, WEST HALL 171: Julianna Towns earned low medalist honors for the Lady Red Elephants with a score of 51 on Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Club.

Grace Brown carded a 53 for Gainesville, and Laura Pudenz finished with a 57.

For West Hall, Olivia Young led with a 52, and Delaney Smith shot a 54.

Gainesville will play Habersham Central tonight at Apple Mountain.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 181, RABUN COUNTY 189: Brandon Boisfontaine led the Eagles with a 44 on Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Club.

Alex Barr and Nat Karalexis each carded a 45, and Lee Norton finished with a 47.

Riverside Military faces Lakeview Academy on Wednesday.


UNION COUNTY 12, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 4: Will Lovett led the Eagles with a double and an RBI in his 2-for-3 performance on Tuesday.

Ben Walker and Maxwell McGinnis also recorded hits for Riverside Military. Walker was saddled with the loss on the mound.

JACKSON COUNTY 14, ELBERT COUNTY 2: Joel Ellis’s grand slam powered the Panthers on Tuesday.

Max Wilson finished 2 for 3 with a home run, RBI and two runs scored for Jackson County (7-8), and Colby Cole was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Chris Griggs struck out six over five innings to earn the win.

The Panthers play host to Elbert County in a doubleheader on Friday in Jefferson.

JEFFERSON 4, HART COUNTY 3: Jake Franklin finished 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs for the Dragons on Tuesday in Hartwell.

Ethan Garner was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a hit for Jefferson (13-2, 9-1 Region 8-AAA), and Micah Carpenter earned the win pitching with six strikeouts.

The Dragons play host to Hart County in a doubleheader on Friday.


DULUTH 15, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 12: Ethan Cobb led the Eagles with four goals on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Mahlik Faulk netted three goals for Riverside Military, Bryant Schouest added two goals, while Matthew Rowan, Ivan Pearson and Wiley Burns all notched one goal.

The Eagles visit Fellowship Christian on Thursday.
