For the first time in school history, Dawson County’s boys and girls golf teams swept the Region 7-AAA championships on Tuesday at Crystal Falls Golf Course in Dawsonville. The Tigers and Lady Tigers advance to the state tournament on May 18. Madison Caldwell claimed her third straight individual championship with a 77, while East Hall’s Triston Cooper shot a 75 and took the boys individual title after winning a one-hole playoff against Franklin County’s Mason Scott.
