Witt Nix recorded a 4 minute, 33.86 second run in the 1600 meter for North Hall to take first place in the Region 8-AAA Regional Meet on Wednesday afternoon in Sugar Hill. Gainesville’s Marquel Woodard came in second place in the 1600, Bryce Schuebert finished third for the Trojans, and West Hall’s Jimmy Gault finished in fourth. Nix, Woodard, Schuebert, and Gault each qualified for sectionals later this month.
