Flowery Branch senior shooting guard Josh Barrett eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in the first quarter of his team’s 94-85 loss to Loganville on Saturday night in Loganville.
Barrett finished as the team’s third leading scorer with 15 points.
The Falcons (10-9) were led by Ishmael Hollis with 28 points and 22 rebounds and Phillips Chau who hit for a career-high 22 points.
Loganville and Flowery Branch combined to hit 35 3-pointers in the game.
Loganville had 19 3-pointers and the Falcons hit 16.
Flowery Branch returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when it plays host to East Hall.
Vikings beat Indians
Kymmon Woods and Dustin Duckworth had 12 points each in East Hall’s 62-47 win over Lumpkin County on Saturday night.
Charles Perry added 10 point for the Vikings (9-10).
The Indians were led by Shawn Chapman with 17 points.
East Hall returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Flowery Branch.
