Gainesville High senior Justin Cochran (seated) recently accepted a golf scholarship to Wallace State Junior College in Hanceville, Ala.

Wallace State boasts a golf program that regularly contends for national championships and has six former players on the PGA Tour, including Brett Wetterich, a member of the 2006 US Ryder Cup team.
