Chestatee High School has named Chad Pittman its new head boys basketball coach, according to an announcement made Wednesday by Hall County Schools Director of Community Relations and Athletics Gordon Higgins. Upon approval by the Hall County Board of Education, Pittman replaces former War Eagles coach Gary Barnes, who recently resigned with the school to accept a coaching position in his home state of Tennessee. “Hall County has always been home for me — my family, friends and church have always been here,” said Pittman, who graduated from Johnson High in 1991.
