Habersham Central 42, Clarke Central 14
Habersham Central senior running back Robert Renshaw scored on a 1-yard touchdown run on the Raiders' (6-1, 4-0 Region 8-AAAA) first possession Friday night in Mount Airy. Renshaw finished the game with 22 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns.

University of Georgia recruit Tavarres King broke Austin York's 1999 record of total yards in a game (200). King finished the game with nine receptions for 207 yards and a touchdown. On the year, King has accumulated 1,008 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns (144 yards per game).

Senior quarterback Bo Hatchett finished the game 16 of 23 for 284 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for touchdown runs of 1 and 3 yards.

Lakeview Academy 14, Pace Academy 6
Dalton Munday scored on a 20-yard run to give Lakeview (6-0) an early 7-0 lead. Munday also added two interceptions.

The Lions extended their lead to 14-6 when Angus Ferguson recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown.

Lakeview visits Pickens County at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Jefferson 19, Social Circle 12
Jefferson fullback Tyler Hill led the Dragon (4-2, 1-0 Region 8-A) offense with 105 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns Friday night in Jefferson.

Dragon quarterback Josh Bohannan finished the game 21 of 31 for 228 yards.

Lucas Redd led the Jefferson defense with nine tackles (one for loss), one sack, a pass break-up and a forced fumble.

Jefferson plays host to Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Banks County 40, Union County 34
Banks County running back Justin Beasley scored on a 58-yard run on the Leopards (3-4, 2-0 Region 8B-AA) first offensive possesion of the game.

He later scored on runs of 18, 53 and 39 yards to bring his Friday night total to 304 yards on 24 carries. He also caught two passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Leopards' quarterback Dustin Worley finished the game 5 of 13 for 91 yards and a touchdown. Worley also rushed for 14 yards on six carries and a touchdown.

Banks County plays host to Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Commerce 36, Prince Avenue 33
With two minutes, 15 seconds remaining in the game, Commerce tailback Colton Brown scored on a 1-yard touchdown run to give Commerce at 35-33 lead Friday night at Tiger Stadium. Brown finished the game with 110 yards on 17 carries.

Tigers' (6-2, 2-0 Region 8-A) quarterback Reuben Haynes connected with Javon Womack on a 72-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter to give Commerce an early 7-0 lead. Haynes finshed the game with 136 rushing yards on 18 carries and three touchdowns. With 33 seconds left, Commerce defensive back Josh Streetman sealed the Tiger victory with an interception.

Commerce plays host to Athens Academy at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Fannin County 13, Dawson County 7
Dawson County reciever Cody Tobias caught a 15-yard pass for the Tigers' (3-4 2-1 Region 8-AA) only touchdown.

Dawson County plays host to Banks County at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2.

Buford 56, Walker 0
University of South Florida recruit Demetris Murray hauled in a 49-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Twoey Hosch to give the Wolves an early 28-0 lead. Murray finished the game with nine carries for 61 yards and a touchdown in two quarters.

Buford's (8-0, 5-0 Region 6-AA) Hosch finished the game 3 of 5 for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Tyler King led the Buford backfield with touchdown runs of 2 and 5 yards.

Buford plays host to Cross Keys at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
