High school scoreboard: Kyleigh Drew's hat trick leads Chestatee girls soccer team to win over Johnson

Kyleigh Drew recorded a hat trick for the Chestatee girls in a 4-2 victory over Johnson on Tuesday in Gainesville. Assists came from Elizabeth Leon and Kristy Guardiola, while Perla Hernandez assisted Vanessa Comoncho for the fourth goal of the night for the Lady War Eagles (1-2-1). For Johnson, Dani Malone and Maria Rivera each scored a goal. 

Chestatee hosts Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.   


WEST HALL 7, STEPHENS COUNTY 1: Juan Aldaco and Yovani Miranda each scored twice, while Flabio Guerrero, Eric Miranda and Luis Oleguin each had a goal for the Spartans (5-1). 

West Hall hosts Banks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. 

GAINESVILLE BOYS 4, MEADOWCREEK 1: Pedro Santos finished with a hat trick for the Red Elephants, while Cesar Ramirez scored one. 

Gainesville visits Chestatee today at 7:30 p.m.

BUFORD GIRLS 3, APALACHEE 1: Arden Paulino, Sidney Borgelt and Ava Sherman all scored a goal for the Lady Wolves (4-0-1).

Buford visits Pinecrest Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

LUMPKIN COUNTY BOYS 4, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 0: With the loss, Lakeview Academy is 0-2 and hosts Lumpkin County at 5 p.m. today. 


GAINESVILLE BOYS 4, APALACHEE 1: Dylan Pineda and Ben Burns both won in singles for the Red Elephants (2-1). In doubles, wins came from Michael Head/ Caleb Anderson and Joseph Diaz/Matthew Carter. 

Gainesville hosts Johnson at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 5, APALACHEE 0: The Lady Red Elephants claimed the win in their first region match of the season. No other information was provided.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 5, ATHENS ACADEMY 0: Anna Montgomery, Lauren Davis and Baylee Turner each won in singles for the Lady Trojans (1-0). Sydney Patterson and Raquel Kallab won in doubles, joining them were Ella Oxley and Lauren White with a pair of wins. 

ATHENS ACADEMY BOYS 5, NORTH HALL 0: The Trojans face Dacula on Tuesday.
