Gainesville’s Matt Gillen set an Outlaw Junior Dragster world record for 330-foot courses with a 4.188-second finish at Tennesee Motorsports Park last Saturday.

Gillen, led by his crew chief and father Bill Gillen and crewman Jimmy Mayfield, broke the previous world record set just an hour earlier at the same course by .025 seconds. Gillen finished with a 4.197-second time in his second attempt.
