No. 20 Georgia Tech women top Boston College 85-48

DULUTH — Tyaunna Marshall scored all 13 of her points in the first half as No. 20 Georgia Tech pulled away early for an 85-48 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Boston College on Sunday.

Metra Walthour got all 10 of her points in the first half for the Yellow Jackets (20-7, 10-4), who posted their highest-ever ACC victory total and sixth consecutive 20-win season.

Frida Fogdemark scored all 16 of her points — a career best — in the second half as Georgia Tech was able to substitute liberally after opening up a 35-16 halftime lead against the Eagles (7-20, 2-12). Fogdemark was 4 for 4 on 3-pointers.

Sydney Wallace added 12 points for the Yellow Jackets, who won their third straight game, and Sasha Goodlett had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Katie Zenevitch scored 11 points and Shayra Brown 10 for Boston College, which had won two in a row.
