The University of Georgia baseball team is predicted to win the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division, as voted by SEC coaches in an annual preseason poll released Monday.

The Bulldogs finished second overall in votes to win the entire conference behind LSU, who received 10 first-place votes, compared to Georgia and Mississippi’s one.

Georgia opens its regular season at 5 p.m. Friday against Youngstown State at Foley Field in Athens.
