Reunion Senior Men’s Golf Association member Mike Reiland shot his age, 76, Tuesday in the weekly Reunion Group Blitz competition.
On June 21, Jon Summerville scored his second hole-in-one of the year on the par-3 fifth hole on the Legacy on Lanier Golf Course.
CLGA: The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a flighted, low-gross, low-net event last Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course in Gainesville.
In the first flight, Ann Hollobaugh won low gross and Ann White took low net. In the second flight, low gross went to Carolyn Palmer, and Alice Paris won low net.
Closest to the pin winner was Paris (No. 3).
DOGFIGHT: Tom Bolton, Don Schrum, Terry McFarland and Mike Tilson won the Wednesday Dogfight last week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
Nick Fernandez, Dan Arthurs and Keith Fitzgerald finished in second place. Tilson and Fitzgerald tied for first individually with scores of 66.
Darrell Pinner took third, carding a 67.
LUNA’S TUESDAY: Blake Nix, Frank House, Tom Sexton and Cleve Brown won the Luna’s Tuesday golf group’s event last week at Royal Lakes Golf Course.
Second place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Don Rogers, Larry Miller and Richard Strickland. Bud Black, Larry Cleek, Johnny Nix and Doug Van finished in third place.
Closest to the pin winners were Nix (No. 4), Cleek (No. 8), Black (No. 14) and Rogers (No. 16).
CMGA: Bill Kinser, Carlyle Cox and Bud Clegg tied with the team of Roy Bartlett, Bill Hardman and Bruce Doll for first place in the Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association’s two-best-ball points game last Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
Third place went to the team of Jack Costello, Bill Oliver, Harry Barnett and Al Pannell.
Closest to the pin winners were Cox (No. 3), Gene Weschler (No. 5), Rick Reed (No. 12) and Dave Gleason (No. 17).
DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday last week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
Norm Phillips won the event on Monday, Horace Smallwood came in second, and Dwight Miller was third.
On Wednesday, Denis Jordan took first place, James Roberts was second, and Al Crego and Steve Knowles tied for third.
Smallwood finished in first place on Friday, and Miller was second.
