Habersham's King signs with Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers claimed rookie wide receiver and former Georgia Bulldog Tavarres King off waivers, announced Monday. King was drafted in the fifth round by the Denver Broncos but has not appeared in an NFL game. He was on the Broncos practice squad for most of the season and was placed on waivers last week following the activation of Denver linebacker Von Miller.
