Brenau University senior Morgan Wood, a Lumpkin County High graduate, carded a second-round 3-under par (69) and was second individually (144) at the Phoenix Invitational Tuesday at the Windtree Golf Club in Mount Juliet, Tenn. The Golden Tigers placed four golfers in the top 10 indivually to win with a combined two-day total of 610. Wood posted a blistering 5-under par 31 during the front nine during the second round to set the stage for her splendid outing.
