Gainesville High graduate and current North Georgia College & State University junior forward Jaymee Carnes has been named to the Peach Belt Conference Preseason All-Conference team. Carnes was named the 2012 Daktronics National Player of the Year as well as the Southeast Region and Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year after leading the nation with 20 double-doubles and averaging 25.0 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Carnes was also named a Preseason All-American by the Women’s Division II Bulletin.
