The Brenau University softball team defeated the University of Auburn-Montgomery in the first game of a double header 5-1, and tied the second 5-5 on Sunday in Montgomery, Ala.

In Game 1, Taylor Kelley had a triple, two runs driven in and a pair of stolen bases for the Golden Tigers.

Lana Lazar added a pair of doubles for Brenau (10-1-1, 5-0 SSAC).

In the second game, Morgan Smith had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Golden Tigers. Brenau visits South Carolina State next weekend.
