Brenau University’s Ashley Hagans scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Golden Tigers’ basketball team to a 71-59 win over Emmanuel College on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Paige Cooper added 14 points, and Tori Collins and Meg Henson chipped in 13 points each for Brenau (12-5, 4-3 Southern States Athletic Conference).

Brenau shot 55 percent from the field in the second half and connected on 17 of 31 shots.

The Golden Tigers return to action against Lee University at 6 p.m. Thursday in  Cleveland, Tenn.
