After a pair of first-round upsets, only five area teams are still standing in the high school football playoffs, and just two of those call Hall County home. Higher-seeded Chestatee and Flowery Branch were eliminated last week, leaving just Gainesville and North Hall to represent the county. Elsewhere in the area, Buford and Jefferson have advanced to the second round, and Commerce is set to open its postseason when the Class A public school playoffs kick off on Friday.
