Opinion: An assessment of the men running for president
Trump

Here’s my assessment of Crazy Bernie Sanders and Sleepy Joe Biden, who are trying to oust President Donald Trump:

Bernie Sanders:

Don’t be fooled by this avowed socialist disguised as a “democratic socialist.” Crazy Bernie lived at a socialist commune in Israel. He spent his honeymoon in Russia. He praised Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Daniel Ortega, notorious dictators from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua respectively.

Sanders wants “Medicare for all” (including illegal immigrants), free tuition for college students and college loan forgiveness. This means much higher taxes for everyone, not just millionaires and billionaires. His radical ideas would bankrupt America when our national debt is a staggering $22 trillion!

Sanders is preying mostly on naive young citizens, who see socialism as the great equalizer: tax the rich, give to the poor and eliminate the middle class. It’s a failed system that leads to fewer liberties, bigger government, economic ruin and hopelessness. Perhaps millionaire Bernie should move to Venezuela.

Joe Biden:

Sleepy Joe is losing his mental competency. This man is a daily gaffe machine and it’s pitiful. He can’t recall the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence. He thinks he’s in one state when he’s in another one. He believes he’s running for the U.S. Senate on “Super Thursday.” Biden says he’s seeking presidential reelection. He confuses his wife with his sister. He asks a man in a wheel chair to stand and be recognized. He explodes when confronted with tough questions.

Despite serving as vice president for eight years under Barack Obama, the most liberal president in American history, Biden portrays himself as a moderate. Not so. He supports open borders, bigger government, higher taxes, more regulations, Obamacare, abortion-on-demand and the ridiculous “Green New Deal.”

Moreover, Quid Pro Quo Joe is about to be exposed for his corrupt dealings with Ukraine and China while overseeing American policy in these nations during the Obama Administration. Does any logical person think that Hunter Biden, Joe’s inexperienced, incompetent son, would have been paid millions of dollars by Ukraine and China if his father hadn’t been vice president? Let’s hope the pending investigations hold the Biden family accountable for their sleazy, selfish actions.

Donald Trump:

Whether you like or dislike this man, it’s hard to deny the president’s remarkable results in three short years. To name a few, the economy is booming and unemployment is at a five-decade low. New trade deals have provided thousands of jobs for Americans. Illegal immigration has been reduced dramatically and a big wall is being erected on our southern border. The military has been rebuilt. We’re energy independent. Two new conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices have been appointed.

Nevertheless, President Trump has been attacked relentlessly by the biased media and impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives, who knew he’d be exonerated by the U.S. Senate. Incredibly, our president remains focused on his “Make America Great Again” theme and should win convincingly against Crazy Bernie or Sleepy Joe on Nov. 3.
