Congratulations go out to the French people on the election of Emmanuel Macron as the next president of France.

The French people were smart enough to recognize that the far right, populist position of Marine Le Pen was not the best thing for their country or for Europe.

Tragically, American voters were not so smart last November, and we are stuck with Donald Trump and our Rep. Doug Collins.
