JEFFERSON — A mother and her 13-year-old son are dead and her 47-year-old husband, the child’s father, is in jail on murder charges. The bodies of Andrea Reeves, 42, and Austin Reeves were discovered by law enforcement responding to a late Wednesday morning 911 call of shots being fired at the family’s Gordon Street residence in Jefferson. Marty Reeves, 47, was taken into custody by law enforcement, who had weapons drawn as they approached the single-family home located behind the Shell station that faces Athens Street.
